Biography and Background
From the early days of dial-up connections, my passion for the internet and communication technologies has been unwavering. I chose to study computer science in university, where I quickly developed a deep interest in networking solutions. For my bachelor thesis, I focused on “wireless sensor networks“, captivated by their potential to transform industries. For example, they could aid in finding lost hikers in challenging terrains by marking paths with sensors, or even support the concept of smart mines that, upon sensor activation, could automatically target and neutralize threats.
During this time, I pursued certifications like CCNA and MCITP 2008 to deepen my understanding of network solutions. I gained practical experience working with Windows Server environments, particularly in setting up Active Directory and DNS services. To apply and expand my skills, I volunteered for a year on projects as below:
- Water and Wastewater Organization, Tehran | Microsoft Services Implementation
Assisted in deploying Active Directory and DNS on Windows Server 2008, focusing on user accounts, permissions, and stable operations. - Alborz Insurance, Tehran | Cisco Network Optimization
Supported the configuration of Cisco routers and switches, setting up VLANs and basic routing to enhance network segmentation and performance.
Starting as a network administrator, I soon realized my passion lay in infrastructure, leading me to advanced studies in Cisco technologies and earning a CCNP in Routing and Switching. My journey into network security began with the TMG 2010 course, which sparked a lasting interest in firewalls and security. Further studies in Comptia Security+ and CCNA Security solidified my commitment to this field.
Looking forward, I am focused on Cloud Computing, Automation, and Security. I am committed to advancing my expertise in these areas, particularly with industry leaders like Juniper, Amazon AWS, Fortinet, and Cisco. The future holds many challenges, but I am excited to continue this journey.
